Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart
Tokayev congratulated Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov on the 20th anniversary of
the signing of the Treaty of Allied Relations between Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz
Republic. In a telegram, the Head of State noted that the 2003 Treaty marked
the beginning of a new stage in the development of bilateral relations and laid
a solid legal foundation for the effective promotion of multifaceted interstate
ties. President Tokayev also expressed confidence that joint efforts will
ensure further strengthening of strategic partnership and alliance, as well as enable
implementing the immense potential of bilateral cooperation for the benefit of
the peoples of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
