Kazakh President receives credentials from ambassadors of six states

During today’s ceremony at the Akorda Presidential Palace, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received credentials from ambassadors of six states, including Egypt, Serbia, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Australia, Colombia, and Syria. The Head of State congratulated the diplomats on the official start of their mission in Kazakhstan, highlighting the country’s peaceful and constructive foreign policy. Kazakhstan is set to cooperate in all directions and maintain positive relations with every country, Tokayev emphasized. He wished the ambassadors success, noting that they would receive comprehensive support from the Kazakh government in fulfilling their duties, along with conveying best wishes and greetings to their heads of state.

“I am delighted to be in Kazakhstan again to present my credentials to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. My appointment comes at an important moment in our bilateral cooperation. Two years ago, we celebrated the 30th anniversary of our diplomatic relations. As Ambassador, I will make every effort to further deepen our bilateral ties,” said Ambassador of Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Thomas Reisen.

“Colombia and Kazakhstan share common ground in international policy. Our shared objective is the advancement of our states. Like Kazakhstan, Colombia is committed to working on issues such as global warming, energy resources and biodevelopment,” noted Ambassador of Colombia Hector Isidro Arenas Neira.
