Four Kazakh IT startups, along with six
projects from Georgia, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and Kyrgyzstan have been
selected by DOMiNO Ventures, an international venture fund, to participate in
the BetterFuture AI acceleration program. The «Astana Hub» technology park signed a
memorandum of cooperation with the fund last year, facilitating the
participation of domestic startups in acceleration programs to attract funds
for the development of their projects and investors interested in the
innovative potential of Central Asia and the Caucasus. The
two-month training program aims to equip participants with global competitiveness
skills, covering both technical and business techniques.
«DOMiNO
Ventures has already invested $490,000 in the Kazakh GoDays startup in March of
this year. The recent selection process focused on artificial
intelligence startups, with a significant number being from Kazakhstan. Accordingly,
they will receive training from top experts. At the end of the program, these startups may
receive investments of up to $250,000,» said Tanat Uskembayev, managing
director at «Astana Hub».
