Kazakh Government discusses real sector development with business participation

Kazakhstan’s Council of Domestic Entrepreneurs convened to address the expansion of artificial intelligence application systems, development of digital technologies, green financing, agro-industrial complex, and comprehensive support for local producers. The meeting, involving the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs and major businesses, aimed to implement priorities outlined in the President’s state-of-the-nation address. Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov emphasized an essential role of business in advancing technological and innovative development and stressed the need for their involvement in the real sector. As part of the Year of Working Professions, Bektenov instructed to renew the previously used practice of large businesses’ patronage over colleges and create a base for training specialists to help train future staff. He also highlighted the importance of reducing tax rates on income from loans for green projects and improving incentives for domestic seed production. Special attention is paid to the development of intra-country value, with efforts underway to work out a new methodology for determining the share of Kazakh content in goods, works, and services to boost the growth of domestic enterprises.
