Interdepartmental commission simplifies Kazakhstan border crossings

The Interdepartmental Commission on the Non-Proliferation of Coronavirus has weakened the regime of crossing the border of Kazakhstan. The procedure of air communication between Kazakhstan and other countries has been simplified both for the citizens of the country and for foreigners. The only requirement for arrivals from abroad is to provide a certificate of a negative PCR test for COVID-19, which is valid for 72 hours. This is regardless of the vaccination status. In addition, it will now be possible to travel abroad by car once every 15 days. It is reported that these measures are aimed at boosting economic activity, developing domestic tourism and improving the investment climate of the country.
