President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed his congratulations to the people of Kazakhstan on Victory Day. The congratulatory message was published on the Akorda website, “On May 9, we bow our heads in memory of those who did not return from the battlefields, sacrificing their lives in the name of peace and tranquility in our land. We pay tribute and express our gratitude to veterans - frontline soldiers and homefront workers.”
The country made a significant contribution to
the common Victory, the triumph of justice and freedom on the Earth. The Head
of State emphasized that the military and labor feats of our compatriots during
the World War II serve as an example of incredible courage and true patriotism
for the younger generation. Thanks to their selflessness and valor, we can live
and embody plans for the future. President Tokayev also wished health and
well-being to all Kazakh citizens, noting the significance of this day as a
reminder of the importance of strengthening peace.
