Insights Central Asia scientific platform presented at Astana Think Tank Forum

The new digital platform Insights Central Asia, developed by the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies (KazISS), was presented as part of the Astana Think Tank Forum in the capital. The resource brings together academic publications, analytical materials, and research on Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries. The platform was created to increase the accessibility of regional analytics for foreign experts and to enhance international scientific cooperation. The site already features around 80 publications, ranging from political and economic reviews to studies on demography and international relations. Users can independently upload their own works in English, including articles, books, reports, and monographs. In the future, Insights Central Asia aims to become the largest online archive of analytics on Central Asia, open to researchers from around the world.

«Firstly, this platform demonstrates that we are keeping pace with digitalization. Secondly, it represents another additional case or promoting. For instance, as part of today’s forum, several sessions will be dedicated to discussing reports that we have already published, for example, on Central Asia and Afghanistan, as well as on demographic strategy and demographics. This platform is completely open, yet it also provides opportunity management,» noted Aigul Kosherbayeva, Scientific Secretary of the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of Kazakhstan.

Notably, the international dialogue platform Astana Think Tank Forum brings together leading experts, analysts, politicians, and representatives of international organizations. In total, more than 500 participants from 40 countries are taking part in the forum. The discussions focus on the transformation of global governance, the architecture of security, the interconnections between the economy, technology, demographic and climate changes worldwide, as well as the role of middle powers in international relations and the Central Asian region in contemporary geopolitics.
