New modern clinics will be built in Kazakhstan, namely in the cities of Nur-Sultan and Almaty, the Health Ministry announced. The centers will comply with international quality standards, taking into account the requirements of the Joint Commission International. Scientific and innovative multidisciplinary clinics will open early next year. Meanwhile, new pharmaceutical enterprises will be built in the country as well. Turkish investors plan to allocate about US$60 million to implement two projects. The new plants will conduct clinical trials, produce antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs and medicines for treating cancer. The relevant department is set to increase the share of domestic production of pharmaceuticals and medicines in the Kazakhstan’s market up to 50 percent as early as 2026.
