Kazakhstan’s economy has received a positive
assessment from the International Monetary Fund. The assessment was shared
during a meeting between Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov and IMF Mission Chief
for Kazakhstan Amina Lahreche. According to her, economic growth in the country
is being driven by effective reforms. She highlighted growth in the
manufacturing, services, transport and construction sectors. Lahreche also
noted a gradual decline in inflation and improvements in tax administration.
She emphasized that the measures being implemented are helping to maintain the
resilience and stability of Kazakhstan’s economy.
