Flowers laid at legendary heroes’ monuments in Astana

The memory of legendary World War II heroes, General Ivan Panfilov and Halyk Kakharmany Bauyrzhan Momyshuly, was honored in Astana. Flowers were laid at their monuments during a ceremony dedicated to the birthdays of these Heroes of the Soviet Union. The event was attended by political and public figures, representatives of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, veterans, deputies, and youth. As the participants noted, their goal is to preserve the memory of the courage and bravery of Bauyrzhan Momyshuly and Ivan Panfilov, who distinguished themselves on the battlefields for their homeland with valor and unwavering dedication. Their example is of great importance in educating Kazakhstan’s younger generation.

«Guided by unwavering principles, Bauyrzhan Momyshuly’s feat and heroism set an example not only for the military but for the entire younger generation. He is a figure we, as Kazakh citizens, should be proud of,» said Bakhytbek Smagul, Chairman of the «Qazaqstan Ardagerleri» association.
