A single helpline on issues of
family, women and protection of children’s rights has been launched in
Kazakhstan. The 111 Contact Center is available 24 hours a day, calls from both
landline and mobile numbers are free of charge. Besides, assistance will be
provided to citizens in the form of text messages. Qualified psychologists and
lawyers are involved in providing support to Kazakh citizens in difficult
situations. In each case, an individual approach and involvement of all
necessary state agencies and services with mandatory feedback are provided. According
to the Kazakh Government, the helpline will be included in one list along with
other emergency services of the country, which will make it possible to
promptly provide legal, psychological and advisory assistance to citizens,
preventing possible offenses and crimes.
