A specialized medical train ‘Salamatty Kazakhstan’ travels across the country’s regions. This time the team with specialists visited Pavlodar region. Hundreds of residents of remote stations and settlements had a chance to get free examinations and diagnostics.
“It is a great help to rural residents. They can undergo an ultrasound scan, visit narrow specialists such as a cardiologist, a general practitioner, or a dentist. In recent years, people had their teeth removed, now they can come for dental treatment. For example, I had an ultrasound screening, and visited a cardiologist,” shared village resident Bibizhan Assarbekova.
The modern equipment of the medical train allows for a wide range of examinations, including, biochemical analyzes, radiography, fluorography, ultrasound examination of internal organs and blood vessels, electrocardiogram, gastroscopy, and other types of diagnostic studies.
“Starting at half past seven in the morning, residents of three villages come and receive medical assistance. Dentists, neurologists and ultrasound specialists are in most demand. All patients are grateful. Usually, they have to travel to the city to visit narrow specialists,” added Nuripa Taizhanova, a general practitioner.
It is planned that the medical train will visit 67 remote stations of the country until November 2 this year.
