The development of barrier-free trade, the formation of a business climate, and the unlocking of tourism potential. Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov and the heads of government of the EAEU member countries discussed key aspects of cooperation and prospects for further collaboration within the Union at a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council. Bektenov emphasized the importance of creating a favorable business environment within the EAEU, noting that this is the key to sustainable economic growth. Today, the mechanism for regulatory and actual impact is operational within the Union. As a measure to improve business environment, it is proposed to expand the application of this mechanism to international treaties within the EAEU. The participants also discussed prospects for cooperation in the tourism industry. The parties proposed strengthening efforts to create a single information resource about popular routes and attractions. At the conclusion of the meeting, the participants signed a number of documents aimed at implementing joint projects.

«As noted by Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Eurasian Economic Union has proven its effectiveness as one of the most important platforms where the process of economic integration and development of mutual trade is successfully implemented. At the same time, the ability to effectively adapt to external conditions at the national level, as well as within the EAEU, becomes a key factor in ensuring the competitiveness of our economies. The EAEU is not only a space of opportunities but also a platform for realizing common interests, strengthening our partnerships, and increasing competitiveness on the global stage,» Bektenov noted.
