The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development improved its forecasts for the pace of Kazakhstan’s economy in 2021. Experts of the financial institution expect growth of the country’s GDP by 3.6 percent. Earlier this figure was only 3 percent. They associate the upward adjustment with the high dynamics of economic growth in the processing industries, construction and agriculture. The renewed demand in global commodity markets, the measures to stimulate the economy taken by the Government and the recovery of private demand also contributed to this.
