A new environment of interaction
between the state and the population has been created in Kazakhstan. A citizens’
reception center to file an appeal or complaint to any government agency has
opened in the country’s capital. Also, the institution offers consultations with
experts, mediators, and lawyers provided in comfortable conditions. Along with
that, representatives of 18 ministries will hold a personal reception of
citizens at the site of the new center every week according to the schedule,
which is planned to be published in advance on the government website. Another
innovation is that now residents of the regions do not have to come to the
capital and can be received online in the digital public service center installed
here.
“Kazakh citizens can submit their
applications via the eOtinish platform. Residents of remote areas and other
cities can register online for appointments with the first heads of government
agencies. Online video calls will be held in three special meeting rooms
located in our building. In general, citizens with an electronic digital
signature can receive over 1,200 types of public services at this center on a
one-stop shop basis,” Aiman Issabayeva, Head of Citizens’ Reception Center, said.
It bears noting that the center
was established as part of the ongoing large-scale work to implement the concept
of the ‘Listening State’ initiated by Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
