Young Kazakh residents will have
the opportunity to explore historical landmarks and city attractions across the
country. The excursion train «Journey to the Native Land» will depart today, July
24. Since 2016, the patriotic project has already reached over 2,300 Kazakh
children.
«Children will visit renowned cultural and
historical landmarks in Astana, Burabai, Almaty, Taraz, Turkistan, and
Baikonur. This year’s initiative prioritizes children from flood-affected
regions. Thus, the project will focus on children from large, low-income, or
single-parent families residing in these areas. The lists of participants have
been compiled by the regional administrations,» said Dias Beissenbek, head of the
press service of the Social Development Foundation.
