The position of a
career guidance specialist will be introduced in Kazakh schools. It has been officially
established in the country’s secondary education institutions for the first
time. According to the Ministry of Education, this innovation aims to assist
the younger generation in choosing their future profession. Specialists will
work not only with students but also with their parents, teachers, vocational
education institutions, and employers, enhancing the effectiveness of
interaction. Notably, the new position is being introduced in schools across
the country as part of the Year of Working Professions and at the initiative of
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
