Kazakhstan has
received the prestigious Uzakrota Travel Awards for the first time at an
international summit in Türkiye. The annual award was presented for the
contribution to promoting the country as an attractive tourist destination.
Kazakhstan was recognized alongside representatives from Saudi Arabia, the UAE,
Serbia, South Korea, South Africa, Thailand, and Ireland. A total of 40 categories
were featured.
«At the event, which
brought together 15,000 delegates from 115 countries, representatives of the Kazakh
Tourism National Company showcased Kazakhstan's tourism potential and
investment opportunities. This year, the international publisher Lonely Planet included
Kazakhstan in the Best in Travel 2025 list,» noted Alisher Tursyn, Department
Director at the Kazakh Tourism National Company.
