Baiterek National Holding is set to allocate eight trillion
tenge this year to support Kazakhstan’s economy. The funds will be used for key
investment projects, housing development, and support for local entrepreneurs.
According to the government, these measures are expected to contribute an
additional 1.3% growth to the country’s real GDP this year. Over one trillion
tenge has already been utilized. The largest investment pool is concentrated in
the Development Bank of Kazakhstan, with 66 projects worth more than two
trillion tenge. These projects are primarily focused on transportation,
logistics, and communications, metallurgy, and the chemical industry. The
Industrial Development Fund and Qazaqstan Investment Corporation will also
contribute to project financing. Additionally, there are plans to triple the
volume of concessional lending for small and medium-sized enterprises.
