The Astana International Forum (AIF) is set to take place
this year, following a corresponding decree signed by Kazakh Prime Minister
Olzhas Bektenov. Notably, the event was canceled in 2024 due to unprecedented
floods in the country. The AIF is one of the largest dialogue platforms in the
Eurasian region, where representatives from governments, international
organizations, major companies, and business and academic circles discuss key
issues on the international agenda, such as foreign policy, economy and
finance, security, sustainable development, energy, and climate change. This
provides the global community with an opportunity to unite efforts in
addressing global challenges and propose new perspectives for development.
