Kazakhstan
and China have agreed on the promotion and mutual protection of investments. President
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed the relevant law on ratifying the agreement
between the governments of the two countries. According to experts, the
establishment of clear and transparent legal frameworks is expected to provide
a strong stimulus for the inflow of high-quality investments into high-tech
sectors and contribute to strengthening the country’s export potential. In addition, the Head of State
signed a law on ratifying
the Memorandum of Understanding between
Kazakhstan and the International Monetary Fund regarding the Regional Capacity
Development Center for the Caucasus, Central Asia, and Mongolia. The center is
designed to enhance the professional skills and qualifications of employees of
state agencies in the region in the areas of macroeconomic analysis, monetary
policy, and financial regulation.
