The murmur of a stream, the rhythmic dripping
of melting snow, and the singing of birds - these sounds of awakening nature capture
visitors’ attention at a unique interactive exhibition at the Presidential
Center in Astana. Dedicated to the celebration of Nauryz holiday, the
exhibition is part of a 10-day program open to all who wish to learn more about
this ancient holiday. The opening of the decade of thematic excursions is a
vibrant and festive event, featuring performances by national musical ensembles.
The exhibition showcases ornamented tableware, household items, traditional
embroidery, and sculptures, all contributing to the special atmosphere of the holiday
of the Turkic peoples and immersing visitors in the rich chronicle of
traditions and customs.
«For Turkic peoples, Nauryz holds special
significance, it is not just a holiday on the event calendar but a symbol of
renewal, the interaction between humans and nature, and human connection.
Around 60 exhibits showcasing the celebration of Nauryz across the Turkic world
- among peoples united by deep and centuries-old roots of Turkic traditions -
are presented to our visitors today. These exhibits not only reflect the daily
life of nomadic peoples but also highlight the unique aspects of their material
and spiritual culture,» noted Deputy Director of Kazakhstan’s Presidential
Center Botagoz Kaipova.
