Kazakh residents will now be able to check their status in the Ashyq application without scanning a QR code or even leaving home. After updating the mobile app, you can check the health status before visiting a particular facility, and thus avoid the fine. All you need to do is enter the personal identification number in the Profile tab. However, for now, the update is available only for Android users. People with red and yellow statuses are prohibited from going to public places. According to the interdepartmental commission, currently, on average 3,000 Kazakh citizens use this service per day. Almost 2,000 people infected with coronavirus and more than a thousand contacted persons have been detected since its introduction.
