Aktobe region starts housing construction for flood victims

The construction of housing for flood victims has commenced in the regions of Kazakhstan. It is planned to build 595 new houses in the Aktobe region. In the village of Kobda, foundations have already been prepared for 70 houses, with a total of 150 buildings planned to be put up. The region’s residents are also receiving compensation for damages.

“To address the flood aftermath, a special commission has been established. Flood victims are receiving comprehensive assistance. A one-time social payment exceeding 613 million tenge has been allocated to 1,881 individuals. 215 families have been compensated for material damages amounting to 433.284 million tenge, following the decision of the special commission,” said Gulbagda Kobeyeva, press secretary for the Governor’s office of the Aktobe region.
