From Medtech and HR technologies to autonomous drones and AI
agent-based platforms, more than a dozen artificial intelligence projects were
showcased at Astana Hub. The venue hosted Demo Day for the AI’preneurs
acceleration program – an initiative by the Ministry of Digital Development,
Innovation and Aerospace Industry. Over 360 applications were submitted from
across the country, with 12 top projects making it to the final. Over the
course of three months, participants progressed from initial ideas to market-ready
startups. According to the organizers, developers were provided with all the
necessary conditions – from housing and coworking spaces to mentorship and
infrastructure support. Among the featured startups was OmirAI, a platform that
uses AI to analyze medical data and deliver personalized recommendations.
«We decided to develop a startup that uses scientifically
validated mathematical equations in medicine. The AI extracts test results from
a PDF or photo provided by the laboratory and processes the data using our
equations and formulas. Based on the analysis, the AI determines which medical
specialist should be consulted and provides relevant recommendations,» said Sayatzhan
Madi, founder of OmirAI.
