The integration of artificial intelligence into Kazakhstan’s education system is a timely step, as noted by international experts. Under a presidential decree, a comprehensive digital educational environment is to be established in the country by 2029. This reflects a strategic focus on developing human capital and enhancing the competitiveness of domestic professionals in the global labor market, where proficiency in AI technologies is expected to become a basic competence in the near future. Therefore, the key priority is to prepare a new generation of Kazakh citizens for life in the era of digital transformation. At the state level, the implementation of AI in education is expected to produce specialists capable of advancing AI initiatives both domestically and internationally, emphasizes data and AI architect Muhammad Awais Ejaz.
«This will definitely have a greater impact. You are
going to improve the AI adoption within the country and AI literacy within the
country. The country will start producing more and more talent, which will be
AI-enabled and ready to contribute to the artificial intelligence space
globally. And when the country will start developing those kinds of
cutting-edge technologies, the country will be able to attract global
investments into their economy as well,» said Ejaz.
