Air Astana’s fleet will be expanded with new aircraft. The company plans to acquire 50 Airbus and 15 additional Boeing aircraft by 2036, as announced by Chief Executive
Officer Ibrahim Canliel during
a meeting with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. He also presented the President with plans to expand the
airline’s route network,
develop multimodal transportation, and increase flight frequencies. Air Astana’s strategy is aimed
at strengthening Kazakhstan’s role as a regional aviation hub. The Head of State underscored the
importance of achieving these goals.
