Artificial intelligence will help save the Aral Sea. Digital technologies are being introduced in the region to monitor and manage water resources. Plans include the creation of a unified automated system for water accounting, analysis, and distribution, which will enhance transparency, reduce losses, and promote more efficient use of resources. Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov discussed joint measures to raise the water level of the Aral Sea with the heads of delegations of the countries participating in the second meeting of the Board of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea (IFAS) held in Astana. He emphasized that Kazakhstan advocates strengthening cooperation among Central Asian countries in the field of water resources, noting that only through joint efforts can sustainable development solutions for the region be achieved.
«Each country has its own national interests, and we should and will always defend them. However, I am convinced that our shared strategic and long-term priority is good-neighborly relations. The challenge lies in ensuring that, while addressing everyday short-term issues, we do not undermine these long-term priorities. I believe we will work together to ensure that such matters are always resolved on a mutually acceptable and beneficial basis,» Bektenov noted.

energy security, and the quality of life of millions of people.
