63 public services to be available to Kazakh people remotely by end of year

Kazakh residents will have to visit Public Service Centers and stand in long queues less frequently. In the nearest future, almost four times as many remote public services will be available for people, Bagdat Mussin, Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry stated at a government meeting. According to the Minister, the relevant ministry intends to simplify the task due to the implementation of the Video PSC project. The innovation is set to be launched by 2025. According to the Minister, only 13 public services are available in an online format in the country so far, and the number of them will increase to 63 by the end of the year.

“We introduced the possibility of paying fees via QR in Public Service Centers. As a result, savings of citizens amounted to more than 200 million tenge over five months. All taxes should be submitted for payment via QR. In turn, this will not only save citizens' money, but also lead to the elimination of the shadow economy,” Mussin said.
