Kazakh volunteers have collected
over 1,700 tonnes of humanitarian aid for flood victims. The majority of it has
already been delivered to the flood-affected regions, according to the Ministry
of Culture and Information. More than 29,000 volunteers are currently involved
in evacuating people, collecting and sorting essential supplies, as well as
providing informational support, in the Aktobe, Kostanai, West Kazakhstan,
Akmola, Atyrau, and Abai regions. It is worth noting that 20 front offices of
volunteers to receive humanitarian aid have been set up throughout the country.
