The fleet of Kazakhstan’s rescue services has
been expanded with a modern multipurpose aircraft for special operations. The
primary functions of the L-410 aircraft include transporting humanitarian cargo
and personnel, evacuating victims, and monitoring the situation. The
special-purpose aircraft, designed to operate in the most extreme conditions,
was ceremoniously welcomed at the capital’s airport. It is fully equipped for
transporting patients with severe and infectious diseases. Kazakh pilots have
already undergone special training in operating and maintaining the aircraft at
the Prague Aviation Training Center. The Kazakh Ministry for Emergency
Situations expects the delivery of three more such aircraft.
«This aircraft is highly versatile. It is a
well-proven and reliable machine, with more than 1,200 units produced. The
aircraft acquired by the Ministry is the latest and most advanced modification.
It is the first customer in Central Asian countries to receive this particular
modification, which is a great honor for us. The aircraft is low-maintenance,
multifunctional, and capable of landing on unprepared sites and performing a
variety of missions,» said Vice President of OMNIPOL Artem Movsesyan.
