The capacity of the
Trans-Caspian International Transport Corridor in Kazakhstan has increased to six
million tonnes per year, including 100,000 container shipments. In the first 11
months of this year, freight volumes rose by 63 percent, while container
shipments increased by more than two and a half times. These figures directly
reflect significant growth along the route, according to the Government.
Notably, the country is focusing not only on modernizing infrastructure along
the corridor and boosting its capacity but also on improving service quality.
To address these tasks, a coordination center of the Trans-Caspian Transport
Corridor was launched this year. The new platform is designed to enhance
competitiveness and reduce delivery times for goods between Europe and Asia to
15 days.
