Task forces to coordinate housing restoration in regions

The Kazakh Ministry of Industry and Construction has formed three task forces to coordinate the restoration of housing, social infrastructure, and utility facilities in the regions. The first task force, led by Minister Kanat Sharlapayev, has already visited the Aktobe region and is scheduled to tour the Akmola and Kostanai regions next.

“In the Aktobe region, the task force assessed the condition of land plots designated by the local authorities for new housing construction. According to the local governor’s office, there are 436 ready land plots in the region. Minister Kanat Sharlapayev met with local entrepreneurs and representatives from construction companies to discuss plans and the strategy for joint work in the forthcoming restoration work,” said Meruyert Ibrayeva, spokesperson for the Kazakh Ministry of Industry and Construction.   

The second task force has already toured the Pavlodar region and will next head to the Abai and East Kazakhstan regions. The third group has visited the western part of the country and will subsequently head to the North Kazakhstan and Atyrau regions.
