Salaries
of Kazakhstan’s environmental services workers have increased and made up a
100 percent increment since July 1. The relevant resolution was adopted by the
Government as part of the implementation of the instructions given by the Head
of State to improve the working conditions of environmental services workers.
According to the document, additional payment is provided for work involving a
risk to life and health. The average salary of specialists now varies from 101,000
to 320,000 tenge, depending on the position held and length of service. The
given measure is aimed at reducing the outflow of qualified personnel and
increasing the attractiveness of the service as a whole.
“Organizations for wildlife
preservation, forest protection and reproduction, and others are among the
structures with special working conditions. In general, the salary increase
will cover nearly 13,000 workers in this field,” said Dinara Alimova, Press
Secretary to the Kazakh Prime Minister.
