Every citizen of Kazakhstan living abroad will be able to vote in a nationwide referendum on June 5. To this end, 65 district commissions will be formed in 52 countries. This is reported by Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The ministry asks citizens to provide personal data in advance to be included in voter lists. Moreover, Kazakh citizens already receive text messages about the forthcoming national referendum on amendments to the Constitution. The mailing list indicates the date of the vote. Furthermore, the ballot will contain only one question “Do you accept amendments and additions to the Constitution of Kazakhstan?” The possible response will have only two options - approve or vote against.
