Professional athletes carry out practices in villages

The Committee of Sport and Physical Education of Kazakh Ministry of Culture and Sports provided an opportunity of outdoor sports to children led by professional trainers. The “Aulafit” program was launched in Karagandy region. For example, a legionnaire from Nigeria carries out soccer practice in the village of Osakarovka.

“Samuel has been teaching us for a week now. I really like the way he explains and I really like the soccer game itself. We train every day,” shared a trainee Amanbol Imanbaiuly.

“I like Osakarovka. I like the “Aulafit” program. I came to Kazakhstan from Nigeria for the love of football. We have no similar programs in our country for the development of sports. I work not only with children, but also with adults, since I’m the professional fitness trainer,” said Samuel Obinna, trainer of the “Aulafit” program.

The village has five sports grounds and a health and fitness center, where Samuel Obinna carries out football practice. He plans to make every effort to involve as many children as possible in this sport.

“The goal of this project is to make everything available, free, and health promoting. Now we are introducing karate, wrestling, Kazakh kuresi in Osakarovka, discussing volleyball, basketball and dance sports,” noted Aliya Ospanova, volunteer of the “Aulafit” program.

If successful, the project will be implemented in other districts of Karagandy region.
