The construction of 26
healthcare facilities, including 20 outpatient clinics and feldsher-midwife
stations, is underway in the Zhambyl region as part of the national project. A
total of 4.5 billion tenge has been allocated for purchasing medical equipment
and 30 sanitary vehicles. This was reported to Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas
Bektenov, who arrived on a working trip to the region and reviewed the
modernization of healthcare facilities and the development of the
pharmaceutical industry. He examined the operations of the Super-pharm plant,
which plans to supply domestic medical institutions with products such as
nonwoven materials, adhesive bandages, alcohol wipes, and disposable syringes,
producing 300 million units annually. It employs a full-cycle technological
process, from raw materials to finished products.
«This year, we are
opening a new building with a total area of 16,000 square meters. Additionally,
at our facility, we plan to start producing cancer medications, insulin, and
veterinary drugs. Our plant is unique not only in Kazakhstan but throughout the
CIS. The local content in our products is 95 percent,» said Kairat Kaimoldayev,
CEO of the pharmaceutical plant.
Overall, 655
facilities will be built in Kazakhstan under the Modernization of Rural Health
Care national project. According to Bektenov, the number of medical
institutions in rural areas has increased twice compared to last year. The
Prime Minister also emphasized the importance of improving human resources and
strengthening the technical aspects.
