Construction of 20 fire stations
is currently underway in Kazakhstan, as reported by Minister for Emergency
Situations Chingis Arinov to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Arinov mentioned
that the ministry is enhancing the warning and rapid response system for
various natural and man-made emergencies. As part of these efforts, there are
plans to renew the air fleet and establish a National Maritime Detachment on
the shores of the Caspian Sea.
«Today, I briefed the Head of
State on the ongoing work and plans of the Emergencies Ministry. Thus, I
discussed the optimization of the staffing structure and the enhancement of the
material and technical base of the Ministry, as well as the construction of
fire stations, the Civil Defense Academy, and the modernization of the air
fleet. The President was also informed about measures to digitize rescue units,
enhance personnel capabilities, and strengthen social support for civil defense
personnel,» said Arinov.
