Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and
Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Zheenbek Kulubaev discussed efforts to increase trade
and economic cooperation, expand transport and logistics infrastructure, and
encourage mutual investment and cultural and humanitarian links, along with
other important issues. During the meeting, Kulubaev briefed Tokayev about the
results of the talks with his Kazakh counterpart and the main areas of upcoming
joint work. The Head of State expressed satisfaction with the dynamic
development of Kazakh-Kyrgyz strategic partnership and alliance based on strong
ties of friendship and good-neighbourliness. The President also emphasized the
importance of fully implementing the agreements previously reached at the
highest level.
