An award ceremony honoring media workers was held at the Akorda residence. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated journalists on their professional holiday and extended his warm wishes. He described providing timely, high-quality, and reliable information as a noble mission in an era of advanced global technologies. The Head of State noted that it is through the national media that both citizens and the international community gain insight into the large-scale reforms underway in the country. He also highlighted the contribution of media representatives to the implementation of the constitutional reform.

«Media professionals played a significant role in uniting people around a common goal. They kept the public informed by providing high-quality and substantive coverage of the Constitutional Commission’s work, as well as comprehensive analysis of the proposed amendments. This was evident in the live broadcasts, expert analysis, and insightful interviews produced during the campaign,» President Tokayev noted.

According to President Tokayev, Kazakhstan’s media outlets should enhance their competitiveness in the global information space to successfully fulfill their mission. At the same time, he noted that newspapers and TV channels are transitioning to a new format, developing innovative multimedia platforms, and evolving in line with modern requirements. In doing so, you make a significant contribution to transforming both the way of life and the public consciousness of our nation. I am confident that media professionals will continue to work with great dedication for the benefit of the country in the years ahead,» President Tokayev added.
