Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart
Tokayev received the country’s Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balayeva.
The Head of State was briefed on the work plan for the development of the creative
industry and improvement of the film and book industries. Balayeva reported on
the work and prospects of the ministry, outcomes of its reorganization, new
projects aimed at developing the spheres of culture and information, religion
and interethnic relations, civil society, family and youth policy, as well as drafting
bills. At the end of the meeting, the Kazakh President set a number of tasks
for the ministry to further advance those areas.
