The work of the largest international scientific and educational festival NOBEL FEST kicked off in Nur-Sultan. Its goal is to expand the horizons and knowledge of students by connecting them with outstanding scientists of the world, said the organizer of the event, Maksat Kurbenov. This year the festival is held for the fourth time. Its program is available in eight languages in Kazakhstan, as well as in five other countries.
“Overall, the event will have more than 100 speakers. 500 participants from 150 countries are taking part online. We’ve prepared five studios in five different countries. Speakers from these countries are coming to the studios from which live broadcasts are conducted for global broadcasting. The Nobel Fest is more than just a festival. We’ve created an educational program from a Harvard professor, one of 40 global innovators, and it is already available to every student in Kazakhstan and abroad. It is the most advanced course in the world of innovation and industry 4.0, which is called Exponential Innovation,” Kurbenov said.
According to the established tradition, after the main program of the festival, there will be a series of lectures for students from 18 to 22 April. 14 Nobel Prize laureates, as well as the Breakthrough Prize winners are expected to speak there.
