President Tokayev receives Kazakh Interior Minister

Since the beginning of the year, the number of crimes in Kazakhstan has dropped by nearly 5,500, Interior Minister Yerzhan Sadenov reported to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. He also noted improvements in crime clearance rates. Ongoing preventive measures by law enforcement are helping to reduce domestic offences, while efforts to combat online fraud have blocked around 83 million calls and prevented losses exceeding 2 billion tenge. Following the meeting, the President issued directives to further strengthen law enforcement and public safety.
