President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with the newly appointed
deputy chairs of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan. The Head of State
congratulated Dmitry Ostankovich and Rassul Akhmetov on their appointments and
emphasized the Assembly’s important role in implementing state policy to
promote public harmony and national unity. During the meeting, the President
was also briefed on preparations for the upcoming 34th session of the Assembly
and events planned to mark the 30th anniversary of the organization.
