In
Kazakhstan, more than 220 schools are set to open in the new academic year,
following over 150 new schools commissioned last year. Today, Kazakh President
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received a report from Education Minister Gani
Beisembayev on measures to develop preschool, secondary, technical, and
vocational education in the country. The quality of education in Kazakhstan is
also improving, with every second student who participates in international
Olympiads becoming a prize-winner. Notably, domestic schoolchildren won 58 gold
medals last year. The Head of State was also briefed on the projects on the
transformation of the technical and vocational education system, as well as the
development of inclusive and special education.
