Kazakhstan to fully transition civil service selection to online format

The civil service entry process in Kazakhstan will become even simpler and more accessible. Starting next year, the e-Qyzmet system will be implemented across all government agencies in the country. Currently in a pilot stage with 44 government structures, the system will be phased. This digital solution enables candidates to participate in the competitive selection process from any location and at any stage, ensuring accessibility, transparency, and fairness. Employees can enhance their professional and personal skills at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Kazakhstan, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.

The anniversary date was marked by an international scientific and practical conference in Astana, bringing together representatives of state bodies, departments, Academy staff and alumni, as well as foreign experts. The latter spoke about the use of advanced methods to enhance the professionalism of civil servants in their countries and praised the significant progress in Kazakhstan’s public sector development.

«There are clear links showing that Kazakhstan on its way to follow the good practices that will secure its economic well-being. The digitalization of public services as well elaborated, we see that this is the appreciated by organizations, companies, and civil society in general,» noted Gunter Gaublomme, Director of the Brussels Diplomatic Academy in Belgium.
