President of Kazakhstan presents state awards

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev presented state awards to the country’s outstanding figures. Ravil Cherdabayev was awarded the Otan order, while Serik Tokpanov received the Barys order 1st class. The Head of State acknowledged their contributions to Kazakhstan’s development, emphasizing that Ravil Cherdabayev is held in high esteem by Kazakh people for his significant role in strengthening statehood and his active involvement in public life.

«You have made a significant contribution to the development of the oil and gas industry. Under your leadership, the sector has entered a new stage of development. As a minister, regional governor, and member of parliament, you have faithfully served the interests of the country. In your diplomatic role, you contributed to strengthening our country’s international standing. You are also the author of several scientific works on oil production. As the saying goes: ‘Yenbegimen er syily’ (Honor comes through hard work). Your professional journey stands as an inspiring example for the younger generation,» Tokayev noted.

President Tokayev also highlighted the achievements of Serik Tokpanov, a renowned doctor and exceptionally skilled surgeon who devoted his entire life to improving the nation’s health.

«You have been working in the healthcare system for over 50 years. Being a doctor requires deep dedication to one’s profession, as it is a demanding and meticulous vocation. Throughout your career, you have performed complex surgeries and saved thousands of lives, becoming a true example of service to medicine. You have made a significant contribution to the development of medical science in Kazakhstan,» Tokayev added.
