When families are involved in the educational process, students perform better academically. Kazakh Minister of Enlightenment Askhat Aimagambetov expressed such an opinion during the annual August meeting. He also pointed out the importance of reading educational literature and watching scientific programs in the family circle. In return, parents, who took part in the meeting, declared their readiness to contribute to the educational process and promised to help teachers.
“Parents and teachers must interact to achieve the best possible results. In general, we want to raise a teacher`s status with the help of our moms and dads. After all, parents directly or indirectly influence the attitude of their children. A good relationship between a student and a teacher depends not only on the teacher's knowledge and professionalism, but also on the parents' attitude toward them,” Aimagambetov said.
