This year Kazakhstan is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the State Symbols. To celebrate the anniversary, a number of events, flash mobs and concerts will be held in the main city of the country. 200 events are planned overall, which will involve about a hundred creative teams. On June 4, motorists and athletes from the capital will drive in a convoy along the main avenues of the city for three dozen kilometers. The distance was not chosen by chance, it symbolizes the 30 years since the main attributes of independence were officially approved in the country.
“The biggest pride for an athlete is to sing his national anthem and raise the flag of his homeland anywhere in the world! The motor rally is one of the exciting events on the Day of State Symbols, which, with light nervousness, makes me feel proud and patriotic,” said Kazakh state motorsports coach Nurpeis Konysbayev.
“On June 4, we will hold a patriotic action. Volunteers will distribute more than 5,000 small state flags to residents on the main streets of the capital, in large shopping centers and public transport. Additionally at 5 pm, a festive concert will be held at the Rakhmadiev State Academic Philharmonic,” noted Saken Yessirkepov, Head of Languages and Archives Development Department in Nur‑Sultan.
One of the main events of the festive program will be the State Flag Raising Ceremony with the participation of the President of Kazakhstan.
