More than
2,000 Kazakh women will undergo IT training. Starting August 1, they will
master programming skills under the IT-Aiel program. The training course will
be conducted in the Kazakh and Russian languages in an online format, as
announced at a briefing by managing director of the Astana Hub International
Technopark of IT startups Alina Abdrakhmanova. She noted that applications for
training have been submitted from all over Kazakhstan. As part of the training,
applicants will be able to take a basic computer literacy course, the Freelance
School and the No Code School program.
“The No Code School program aims
to teach participants to create IT products quickly without programming skills
using pre-made templates and tools to set up their own startup projects and
test them. The program participants receive access to online lessons, which
consist of materials on learning modern no-code tools to build landing pages, websites,
mobile applications, chatbots, and marketplaces,” shared Abdrakhmanova.
The program is aimed at
developing women’s entrepreneurship in the country specifically in the IT
sector. Upon completion of training, all the course graduates will receive
certificates and, most importantly, the opportunity for professional growth.
“The ‘Techno Women’ organization
will provide mentoring support under the IT-Aiel project. We will hold meetings
and webinars to show women the opportunities they have and the spheres where
they can succeed on the example of real case studies. Those who have completed
the IT-Aiel school are given access to a free e-commerce school for further
development in this area,” said Aziza Shuzheyeva, President of the ‘Techno
Women’ Non-Profit Organization.
